The VIA (Pre-filled Tax Return) is requested by us from the Tax Authorities, and you will receive it by mail to forward to us. If something in this process hasn’t happened on time or went wrong, and your tax return is nearly ready, you can also send us an authorization that we can manually process. This will only take you 2 minutes.

When we handle your **Income Tax Return**, we always request your authorizations, including an extension for the deadline of your income tax return.
The most important authorization is the **VIA**. This stands for **Pre-filled Tax Return**. We request a continuous authorization and, if necessary, a specific one for a particular tax year (since this continuous system is new, or if the continuous authorization is not yet valid).
Once the Tax Authorities have received your request, they will send you two letters. You need to forward one of these letters with the activation code to us.

If you can’t find the authorization code we requested for you, you can do the following:
1. Go to https://www.belastingdienst.nl and log in with your DigiD at **My Belastingdienst**
2. In the **Income Tax** section, select the correct **Tax Year**
3. Click on **Submit Income Tax Return**.
4. A new screen will open with a print preview. In the top left corner, under **Destination**, you will see a list of printers or ways to save. Select **Save as PDF**.
5. The blue button on the left will change from **Print** to **Save**. Save the document with a name that makes sense to you, such as **VIA [Your Name].pdf**.
Note: You do not need to submit the tax return!
If the PDF download doesn’t work, you can also take a screenshot of the information and send that to us.
Once you have the document ready, send it to your Bookie.
We can streamline this process to just one step if you send the authorization as a photo via email or post. It will save a few steps if the authorization code works correctly.
