Why does The Bookie need my initials, last name, date of birth and bsn?

When you take a subscription with The Bookie, we need a number of details from you. For example, we’ll ask you to enter and update your personal and company settings as soon as you activate your account.
But why does your accountant need so much data anyway? We need to register separately as a consultant for your company and for you as an individual. So if you don't provide us with all the information, we can't do our job.

Company details for the sales tax return

Since we are your accountant, we may submit your sales tax returns, also known as your VAT return. To be able to do that, we have to register ourselves as your tax consultant. To do this we need your company name, your kvk number, VAT ID and OB number, your address and activities. More info.

Personal data for the income tax return

With your initials, last name, date of birth and bsn, we can register ourselves as your tax consultant with the Tax Administration. This allows us to request a postponement, view the required information and submit your tax return. Is some of this data missing? Then we can't provide the service you want from The Bookie. So always fill in all the fields.
