Partner Debt Collection: Straetus

We believe that efficiency, transparency and cooperation lead to inspiring entrepreneurship that provides you with a boost of energy. As an accountant, we try to support you with the online conveniences of The Bookie Webapp and the personal helpfulness of your Bookies. That's what we're good at and we want to keep it that way.

At the same time, we want you to be able to do the same with your own business. Since accounting is not the only thing that can be stressfull, we have looked for a number of partners. Not only do they support ambitious entrepreneurs with their services and products, they also have a similar vision of entrepreneurship as we do, they also offer a transparent and affordable alternative to the more traditional providers and customers receive something extra from The Bookie.

Straetus offer for customers of The Bookie

You have a service contract for a fixed amount per year (€ 250 ex VAT). For this you get the following:

  • Submit unlimited files
  • Login to track files online
  • Fortnightly settlement of funds received
  • Payments after starting collection are settled pro rata, so not the full collection costs first
  • If it is not possible to collect, file costs will not be passed on
  • No success fee is charged for successful collection; but you will receive all collection proceeds
  • Monitoring legal proceedings if necessary

 As a Bookie customer you are given the option to purchase this service per quarter. The costs are then

per year: € 250 ex VAT | per half year: € 135 ex VAT | per quarter: € 75 ex VAT

Step-by-step plan to register

1. Send an email to Straetus (utrecht@straetus.nl) and mention that you are a customer of The Bookie. In the e-mail you also state your Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number and IBAN in addition to your company name.
2. You will receive the service contract for digital signature by e-mail à You will receive an invoice from Straetus
3. From that moment on you use the following method:

  1. Has an invoice not been paid? Then you send a reminder
  2. No payment made after the reminder? Then you send a second reminder
  3. Was payment not made after the second reminder? Then you send the invoice from your own Bookie Webapp to Straetus
  4. Add your customer's email address and phone number to the email you send to Straetus

My name is Roy Bakker from Straetus Incasso Utrecht and we help companies with collecting their outstanding invoices. We do this entire process in an intensive and proactive way and turn every file into a sport in order to get it resolved as quickly as possible via all conceivable contact options. Personal contact with debtors also often contributes to a positive and faster settlement, and we do all this under the guise of customer-friendly collection.

Straetus is a nationally operating franchise organization, which means that we as an organization have a lot of knowledge in-house, but as a client you have contact with one location, so that personal contact is always there. I find the challenge of solving every claim as quickly and as effectively as possible for my clients the fun thing about my job and that is what gives me energy. Debtors often feel helped even though we have to intervene, and in the end that is all that matters!
