No invoice or cash | Register income out of sales to private individuals

Some business owners provide services or products to individuals. In some cases you send an invoice for this, but there are also conceivable situations where your customer does not need a receipt or invoice.

Income without an invoice: pin, cash or Tikkie

If you are a hairdresser, tattoo artist or occasionally attend a market/event, you may get paid in cash and/or your client may not want a receipt or invoice. You do need to record this income. In The Bookie Webapp, the easiest way to do this is as follows.

Create an income statement by period

Instead of sending an invoice, create one for your own records. First choose whether you want to record revenue daily, weekly, or monthly and keep this time period. This way you record on 1 invoice how much your revenue was. You choose how specific this is.

Services: hairdresser, tattoo artist or massage

Do you provide services? If so, you can create a chart showing how many times you sold a particular service at what price.

  • week 1
    • 12 (number)     x € 45 (price per haircut)
    • 9 (number)       x € 110 (price for washing and coloring)
  • week 2

Products: art on markets, in shops or online

  • markets quarter 1
    • 26 (number)     x €15 (price per poster)
    • 45 (number)    x €10 (price per set of cards)

Combination

Advice is to choose your company name with an addition of the type of sales.  This way you can make separate summary invoices per month or quarter. E.g. Jansen Cutouts, Jansen Market sales, Jansen Online sales.

This way you can later see how much your sales were under a specific branch of your business.

Grants or other income with your business? Do you sell through platforms like Etsy, Bol.com or other web shops? Read how to put a correct turnover statement in The Bookie Webapp.

Do you work through a mediation company like Uber or Tadaah? See what the most convenient way is to add these. In some cases, there is a link between that company's software (as with MijnDiad and Flexonderwijs) and The Bookie Webapp.
