Overview of expenses per category or company

Can I also get an overview of expenses per category, expenditure type or company?

Sometimes it is useful if you can see which costs and how many at a specific company you have incurred per category or company/contact. There are several ways to gain insight into your expenses and suppliers.

1. TOTAL EXPENSES - Go to Expenses via the left sidebar and view which expenses are registered in your administration, per quarter or financial year

2. OVERVIEW - Go to Overviews and select Profit & Loss. Here you can see which expenses fall under every cost item/category, as soon as you select the category.  This brings you to the total of all your sales, your income and the total of all expenses, categorized as cost items. Here you can click on the relevant part and see what is included in the cost. Once you have clicked on a section, you will see exactly what you have booked during the year under this section.

3. SUPPLIER - Go to Contacts or enter your supplier's name in the search bar. This way you can see the grouped expenses per supplier. If you click on a contact name, you will enter the administration of that company/contact. Then under Invoices you will see all invoices that you have received from that Seller, in other words: your Expenses at that company.

4. PROOFS OF PAYMENT (RECEIPT & INVOICES RECEIVED) -  Go to your Bookie Inbox. Here you can find an overview of receipts/invoices that have not yet been linked/processed and under Archived you will find which receipts or invoices that have already been processed in The Bookie Webapp.

5. OUTSTANDING - Do you want an overview of expenses that you have not yet registered as paid (maybe these have already been paid by you)? Click on your Dashboard under Expenses on the amount behind Outstanding.

6. EXCEL/CSV - Under Expenses you also have the option to make an export of your expenses. This way you can view and save your costs in an Excel or CSV.

Note: do you have a Plus subscription? Then it may be that an expense has not yet been processed by us. This will of course happen within the promissed term.
